^Lot 941 Rossi / Interarms Model 62 SA .22 S/L/LR #G335359

A reproduction of the Winchester Model 62 slide action repeating rifle chambered in .22 LR/L/S, manufactured in Brazil by Amadeo Rossi SA. Imported by Interarms of Alexandria, VA. with import stamp on the left side of the barrel. It features a blued finish, 23" round barrel, 4/5 length tube magazine, dovetailed blade front sight, elevation adjustable rear adjustable sporting sight, serrated curved trigger, exposed hammer with serrated spur, take-down steel receiver, take-down screw on the left side of the receiver, large corn-cob style wood slide handle, and straight grip shoulder stock with factory serrated and pebbeled buttplate. Rifle retains approximately 98% of its original blued finish showing some superficial scratches on the magazine tube. The metal shows a couple small spots of surface rust on the barrel in front of the rear sight, and a thin line on the right side of the magazine tube. Action is smooth and crisp. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The wood furniture in very good condition with some extremely minor blemishes. If not for the minor rust, this rifle would get an excellent rating.
